With more than a decade of experience, Alisha helps clients take a balanced, purposeful, and focused approach to their financial lives. Originally from Canada, she grew up in Northern Ontario before moving to Detroit in her early twenties and becoming an American citizen in 2011. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Queen’s University (Canada) and spent several years as a certified paralegal before entering the financial industry in 2010.
Starting her career as an administrative assistant, Alisha built her expertise step by step, achieving the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2015 after completing the required five years of hands-on experience. She has since added the Certified Exit Planner credential and holds a Texas State Life Insurance license.
At Ascentis, Alisha creates comprehensive financial plans and analyses for clients, collaborating closely with the investment advisory team to ensure that portfolios remain aligned with each client’s goals and current stage of planning. Her work reflects her commitment to helping clients bring structure and clarity to even the most complex financial situations.
Alisha is also deeply committed to advancing diversity, inclusion, and financial literacy within her community. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and two dogs. She is an active volunteer in her family’s church community and coaches both volleyball and softball for her daughter. Traveling and playing sports together as a family are among her favorite ways to unwind.
